CPR

Why choose Underdark CPR?

At Underdark CPR, we offer more than just a certificate—we deliver life-saving skills grounded in real-world experience, enhanced with advanced standards, and built to exceed OSHA expectations.

We train people to act, adapt, and succeed under pressure—because we’ve lived it. Whether you're a school administrator, factory safety officer, or community leader, you deserve more than checkbox training.

Our CPR system follows the latest evidence-based guidelines and best practices from ILCOR, the international body that informs both AHA and Red Cross practices. While not affiliated with AHA or ARC, we apply the same core science and training standards to ensure high-quality, effective instruction tailored for real-world emergencies.

You deserve to be prepared. Here's why our training goes beyond what Red Cross and AHA offer.

Real-World Experience, Not Just Theory

 Unlike scripted, one-size-fits-all programs:

  • Underdark CPR is designed by instructors with decades of field experience in emergency response, trauma care and search and rescue.

  • Our team includes tactical trainers, and disaster response professionals who have used these skills under pressure—not just in classrooms.

“We don’t just teach CPR—we’ve done it in chaos, in low light, on gravel roads, in flooded fields. That experience shapes how we train you.”

Stricter Skill Standards = Better Prepared Students

We hold our students to higher skill mastery standards than other providers:

  • Red Cross and AHA allow compression ranges—we require accurate technique, not minimums.

  • Our evaluations are rigorous and based on scenario and hands on testing, as well as written test skills and knowledge assessments.

  • We provide individualized feedback and remediation—not conveyor-belt certification.

The goal isn’t to pass—it’s to perform confidently when a life depends on it.

Fully OSHA-Compliant + Documentation Transparency + Records Retention

 Underdark CPR training:

  • Meets or exceeds OSHA 1910.151 and related workplace first aid requirements

  • Includes hands-on skills evaluation with documented proficiency

  • Issues trackable, verifiable certificates with all required fields (course type, date, instructor ID, expiration)

  • Comes with optional custom compliance reports for employers and agencies

Many online CPR certs fail OSHA. Ours meets it on day one.

Current Science, Unbound by Bureaucracy

 Our curriculum is aligned with:

  • 2020+ ILCOR & ECC guidelines

  • The same evidence base used by AHA and ARC—but with freedom to adapt for real-world conditions

This means:

  • You get the same life-saving science, but with less red tape and more adaptability.

  • We update faster than legacy organizations, which often take years to revise materials.

No Cookie-Cutter Classrooms

AHA and ARC often rely on:

  • Pre-recorded videos

  • Passive learning

  • Standardized tests

We focus on:

  • Interactive, scenario-driven training

  • Peer coaching, instructor feedback, and real equipment

  • Adapting techniques to your specific environment, whether that's a factory floor, school, church, or field setting
